Dr. Arun Aggarwal A Dynamic Personality

Dr. Arun Aggarwal is working as a Pediatric Gastroenterologist with an immaculate experience of almost 15 years. Currently residing in India. he has diligently worked with world-renowned hospitals and In the USA and India for a period of almost a decade, therefore making him a great role model for all the doctors-to-be. 

Dr. Aggarwal was born in India and pursued his medical schooling followed by post graduation in Pediatrics from one of the best medical colleges (Maulana Azad Medical College) in India. He always wanted to be a Pediatric gastroenterologist and to fulfill his dreams he went to the USA in 2007. Gastroenterology is a very competitive field in the USA and it’s not possible for foreign medical graduates to enter into this Demanding and challenging field that easily so he had to work extra hard to make his presence shown. Therefore he started his second residency in Pediatrics in New York from 07/2007 to 06/2010. Afterward, he did his fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology from 07/2010 to 06/2013 in New York. He was a man of pure diligence and felt that there are no shortcuts to success. For him, hard work and discipline were two very innate parts of his personality and he felt that he had learned all these hard lessons throughout the course of his Education in India. There are some short-term options (6-12 months) for a pediatric gastroenterology fellowship available in other parts of the world, however, Dr. Aggarwal always wanted to be at the very top of his professional hierarchy so he chose the most fitting option, which was the USA.  

Since he has done his post graduation (also called as residency in the USA) twice in two different settings, across two different continents, he realized how extremely drastic were the lessons learned from both these timelines. This gave Dr. Aggarwal the opportunity to learn not only in the field of Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology but also made him very competent in social and interpersonal skills, thus transforming his personality into its best version. 

After his fellowship, He worked in a reputed university in the USA as Asstt Professor. He is comfortable and confident in the vast majority of gastroenterology procedures including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, management of GI bleed, variceal banding, gastrostomy tube placement, foreign body removal, capsule endoscopy, pH-impedance study, manometry, balloon dilation, polypectomy, liver biopsy etc.

Along with the clinical experience, Dr. Aggarwal also gained a lot of experience in bench research and has successfully handled quite a few research projects himself, which made his talent branch out into a variety of fields. To show his efforts, he has presented few abstracts and posters and also has multiple publications in very reputed journals. To add further wings to his career, he also started reviewing the work of his peers and was actively involved as a reviewer for three major international journals.

His reviews throughout his work in India and USA were regarded with the highest appreciations from doctors.  He has had the opportunity of training with such a diverse faculty that his social skills have now reached their highest peak and he is adored by all his coworkers and students.
